The conference accompanied with a rich program was attended by doctors and nurses and the lecturers were key experts from across the Czech Republic.  MUDr. Barbara Taušová, the lead doctor at EUC and Mgr. Petra Štenglová, the lead nurse at EUC were the professional guarantors behind the conference. The topic of the lectures and discussion panels included new trends in outpatient care, breast cancer, melanoma, chronic disease, sleep apnea, allergology and changes in the educational credit system.

As part of the event, the Professor MUDr. Fantišek Kölbel, DrSc. Award for outstanding contribution to EUC a.s. patients was presented.  The very first award was presented to MUDr. Bohumil Dudešek. The ceremony was attended by the wife of the deceased Professor as well as his son. The award of Professor MUDr. Fantišek Kölbel, DrSc. to honor outstanding contribution in the field of healthcare and patient care across EUC will be awarded on a yearly basis. The award is available to any medical staff member.
